Use any fitness tracker, app or treadmill display to record your time and distance, before sending evidence to the submit your results online form for verification. Once verified, we’ll send your new and well-deserved medal in the post!

Do I have to run the entire distance?

To finish the virtual half marathon and earn a medal, participants do need to provide evidence of completing the distance required. However, you do not have to run the entire distance if you do not wish.

You can complete the race at your own pace and use any method you wish, including walking, swimming, cycling and using a wheelchair. You may decide to use a combination of methods, for example, you may run for some of the distance and then use a rowing machine to complete the rest.

Can I complete the virtual race in stages?

Yes, you can either complete the virtual race in one session or as many stages as you need. At Ace Races, support all virtual race participants of different abilities on their fitness journey and encourage you to challenge yourself and complete the distance in any way that suits you!

How do I submit my virtual race results from different stages?

If you have completed your half marathon virtual race distance in more than one stage, then you should collate and send your results to ACE Races once you’ve completed the full distance rather than every time you complete a session. This will help to avoid any missing results, and ensure that you receive your collectable medal.
